Scheduled conferences provide the health care team with a forum to share information and
coordinate services. Residents and families are encouraged to attend conferences.
Dietary:
Three delicious meals are provide daily and a registered, licensed dietitian monitors each
resident's nutritional status and oversees the delivery of therapeutic diets as ordered by
the attending physician.
Pharmeceutical Services:
A pharmacist is available to residents, families and the health care team for consultation
regarding medication services.
Social Services:
A licensed social worker is available to assist family members with psychological and social
needs and provide personalized counseling to residents and families. The social worker helps
resident's families with concerns which may arise and, if necessary, makes proper referrals
to other area resources.
Activities:
The Altenheim takes great pride in the attention we provide through Therapeutic Activities for
our Residents. Our licensed Therapists and a large Activity Staff ensure that our programs are
centered around the individual resident preferences. Our campus includes courtyards, gardens,
a picnic pavilion, a chapel, and a greenhouse for all to use and enjoy. Our activitiy room
supports small and large group activities.
Monthly Calendars:
Keeps residents informed about upcoming programs and special events.
Altenheim Bus:
Transports residents on trips, lunch groups, special attractions, shopping, and to the
Strongsville Senior Center to join other seniors in the community for a day of fun.
