Health Care Team:

Altenheim is dedicated to providing comprehensive nursing care and services that address the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of our residents. In order to achieve these goals, our health care team works cooperatively to plan, deliver and evaluate the care received by each resident.

Nursing Services:

The residents' care needs are delivered by Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses and State Tested Nurse Assistants. Care is directed by Registered nurses specializing in care of the elderly. Staff is available twenty-four hours a day for consultation with residents, families and staff.

Medical Services:

Medical care is provided by a personal physician of choice. The attending physician directs medical care within the standards set by the Executive Medical Board and the Medical Director of Altenheim. Emergency medical care is available on a twenty-four hour basis.
